Prof. Dr. Rıdvan Yamanoğlu

Prof. Dr. Rıdvan Yamanoğlu is a materials scientist specializing in powder metallurgy, metal powder production, additive manufacturing, and advanced materials characterization. His research focuses on gas atomization technologies, the development of novel metallic alloys, and the investigation of microstructure-property relationships in advanced engineering materials for structural and biomedical applications.

He is a Professor at Kocaeli University (Türkiye), where he leads research activities in powder metallurgy and additive manufacturing. He has established and developed laboratory infrastructure for metal powder production and advanced materials characterization, including gas atomization systems and related processing technologies. His research integrates materials processing, microstructural characterization, and mechanical performance analysis to support the development of next-generation metallic materials.

In addition to his academic role, Prof. Yamanoğlu serves as the Director of the Technology Transfer Office (TTO) at Kocaeli University, where he actively promotes university-industry collaboration, intellectual property management, and the commercialization of research outcomes. He has extensive experience in collaborative research projects involving academia and industry.

Prof. Yamanoğlu has authored 47 SCI-indexed journal publications and more than 100 international conference papers. He has supervised numerous graduate students and participated in many national and international research projects supported by TÜBİTAK, CORNET, EUREKA, and industry-funded programs.
