Our facilities provide an integrated research and development environment spanning surface treatment, powder metallurgy, and workshop-based experimental infrastructure. Together, these units support material processing, surface and subsurface modification, thermal processing, specimen preparation, characterisation, and practical manufacturing-oriented research activities.
1. Surface Treatment Laboratory
The Surface Treatment Laboratory supports a range of surface engineering and surface preparation processes. Its infrastructure includes shot peening, sandblasting, surface preparation equipment, precision balance systems, and related tools used in practical surface-treatment applications.

2. Powder Metallurgy Laboratory
The Powder Metallurgy Laboratory focuses on powder-based material development and thermal processing. Its infrastructure includes powder production, sintering, metallographic specimen preparation, cutting, induction-based systems, optical profilometry, and optical microscopy for material processing and evaluation.

3. Foimyo Workshop
The Foimyo Workshop provides practical workshop infrastructure for fabrication, welding-related operations, straightening, shaping, and other implementation-oriented engineering applications. It supports prototype preparation, equipment adaptation, and workshop-based experimental needs.
