Our graduate student Ecem Süt, under the supervision of Assist. Prof. Dr. Yasemin Yıldıran Avcu, presented her research at the MEETCON – Global 2nd International Scientific Research Congress, held in Madrid, Spain, between May 23–30, 2026.
The study, entitled “Microstructural Characterization of Graphite- and Niobium-Reinforced Ti6Al4V-Based Compositionally Graded Materials Produced by Hot Pressing,” focused on the production and microstructural investigation of compositionally graded titanium matrix composites reinforced with graphite and niobium through the hot pressing method.
The research contributes to the development of advanced titanium-based composite materials by providing valuable insights into their microstructural characteristics and potential engineering applications. The findings were shared with an international audience of researchers and academics, fostering scientific exchange and collaboration in the field of advanced materials and manufacturing technologies.
We congratulate Ecem Süt and Assist. Prof. Dr. Yasemin Yıldıran Avcu on this achievement and wish them continued success in their academic and scientific endeavors.
